Maitres du Temps always assembled the elite of Swiss horology by, for example, combining the talents of Christophe Claret with those of Peter Speake-Marin. Represented by a tree, the company bringing together groups of master watchmakers together develops exclusive three chapter collections of timepieces. The very first, the Chapter One denomination was once again used for the group’s new model: the elegant Chapter One Transparence Titanium C1-3T.
Maitres du temps, a traditional savoir-faire for modern timepieces
The Chapter One Transparence Titanium is classed as one of the most beautiful luxury watches, combining elegance and cutting-edge technology. This barrel-shaped watch of 62.60 mm × 45.90 mm diametre and 18 mm in depth, has a tourbillion made up of over 558 components.
Despite its complex mechanism, the dial remains easy to read and manipulate. The watch is euipped with a chronograph activated by a single pusher in the crown, a retrograde date indicator and a retrograde GMT indicator respectively at 3 and 9 o’clock.
At both extremities of the case, two rollers indicate the day of the week and the moon phases. The Chapter One Transparence Titanium is based on a manual-wind mechanical movement and a balance frequency of 21.600 vph. This symphony of mechanisms makes this timepiece a unique piece of technology.
The Chapter One, first chapter of a beautiful story
Whilst in terms of functions and design the Chapter One Transparence Titanium C1-3T is close to the original Chapter One, under its smooth surface of 18 carats white gold and titanium, the new Chapter One has more character. The dial, covered in a sapphire crystal, underlines this watch’s elegance and letting appear the two rolls on either side.
Whilst the bottom roll indicates the days, the one at the top is an aluminium roll inside a matte anodized cover with laser-cut stars and moon. The strap, on the other hand is made of hand-sewn alligator leather with a white gold buckle.
True piece of art, the Chapter One Transparence Titanium C1-3T is only available in 11 editions, each each of them engraved with “one of 11”.
This timepiece is worth 300 000 euros.
