A one of a kind Burberry scarf
The British fashion brand Burberry launched a new customisation service which should be available starting September 2014. The brand’s clients will have the chance to acquire a scarf or a poncho adorned with their initials.
New customisation service by Burberry
Whilst the offer to personalise products is becoming more and more present amongst luxury shoe and handbag brands – such as is the case with Prada and Longchamps – Burberry gives in to the trend by giving clients the possibility of acquiring a unique fashion accessory.
The British brand will set up a new system starting September allowing fashion enthusiasts to adorn their initials on a scarf or a poncho. This fall, the offer will be available in all of the brand’s boutiques and on its website, to sew two or three initials.
Winter-fall 2014/2015 Burberry accessories
The pieces for which this service will be available were presented during the ready-to-wear winter-fall 2014/2015 fashion week. During this event, each model walked down the catwalk wearing a poncho with their initials.
The scarf that clients may customise according to their desires will be the Heritage model, one of the brand’s iconic models. It will be available in a monochrome version or with the brand’s traditional tartan print.
This new personalisation service will most likely help Burberry increase its sales and its growth.
