After having perfected his savoir-faire alongside Alain Passard for a few years, Chef David Toutain finally opened his own restaurant in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. The Chef prepares a menu inspired by his travels, taking his guests’ palate on a discovery of flavours.
David Toutain, indulge your senses
During more than a year, David Toutain, renowned Parisian chef, went on a world tour. His travels led him, amongst others, in the kitchen of great restaurants in California, Copenhagen, Singapore or Melbourne, where the gastronomy bathes in local flavours.
The Chef’s talent was revealed during a culinary event hosted in Madrid and in Genève. Back in Paris, he opened his own restaurant, the Restaurant David Toutain. This fine gourmet thrives in this environment, offering his clientele an elegant cuisine playing with taste, products and textures.
A harmonious setting
The recent opening of the David Toutain Restaurant rhymed with the discovery of a harmonious setting, where each element is linked to the other. The interior design, subtle and natural but no less polished, invites guests to concentrate on the essentials, their senses. Glass, wood and concrete are very present, creating large, bright room.
The table was carefully set. Each object has a specific purpose resulting from the Chef’s and his team’s travels in Belgium, Spain and in France, in order to create an exceptional table which would enhance the cuisine. Due to this attention to detail, the four menus proposed by the chef, from 42 to 158 euros, are esthetic, inviting to have a taste.
The Restaurant David Totain is located number 29 Rue Surcouf in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. Reservations can be made through the following address : firstname.lastname@example.org.
