During the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013, the American manufacturer Ford introduced its new luxury vehicle line, the Mondeo Vignale. This exceptional vehicle should be on the market early 2015.
Vignale, a high-end car
Vignale, the luxury vehicle imagined by Ford, aims to answer the desires of Ford’s most demanding clients by revisiting the 65 year old Carozzeria Alfredo Vignale. In an attempt to revive its European business, the brand appeals to a more upscale clientele. Indeed, Ford’s Mondeo Vignale Concept car provides unique customer benefits such as an individual concierge service, phone apps, a lifetime valeting service and access to lounge facilities at airports and stations.
Based on the preceding model Mondeo, the vehicle takes its name from the famous Italian coachbuilder. The two first Ford Mondeo Vignale vehicles, the sedan and the station wagon, were presented at Frankfurt and are expected to arrive in 2015. However, there is still time for the brand to make further improvements.
Contemporary and elegant
This new prototype combines simplicity with sophistication. This luxury vehicle features 20-inch light alloy wheels, polished chrome door handles and side-view mirror caps, and an exclusive “Nocciola” color.
On the inside, the style combines tradition and modernity with stitched quilted leather seating and high-quality carpets.
In terms of equipment, the Mondeo includes an automated park assist feature allowing drivers to park from outside the car, a Ford SYNC connectivity system providing a WiFi hotspot and last but not least, an obstacle avoidance system to prevent collisions.
