Hotel de Gallifet : the secrets of Italian cuisine revealed

The Italian Cultural Institute of Paris offers each month a cookery course where secrets to Italian cuisine will be unveiled to the participants, accompanied by the greatest chefs of the country. The courses take place at the Hotel de Gallifet.


A tribute to Italian gastronomy

Within the historical walls of the Hotel de Gallifet, the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris welcomes culinary enthusiasts to discover the subtleties of Italian cuisine.

Since January, the institute organises once a month a culinary workshop directed by some of the greatest Italian chefs. In a friendly but most of all appetizing atmosphere, expert cooks and beginners will participate in the preparation of an Italian meal, under the watchful eye of an Michelin starred Italian chef.

Different tricks and advices will be given and explained by the renowned chef, and the guests will have the opportunity of tasting the different foods made right before their eyes,, in the magnificent Hotel de Gallifet.




Coming next

The next culinary workshop will take place on Septembre 22 and 23. The Institute will be welcoming the chef Gennaro Esposito whose restaurant La Torre del Sarracino in the south of Italy received its second Michelin star in 2008.

November 10 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, Mauro Uliassi, chef of the Uliassi will be present during the monthly workshop. An exceptional opportunity since his restaurant counts amongst the fifty greatest restaurants in Europe.


The enrolment fee is 100 euros for a workshop which can be paid on-site or by internet after filing in a document. For further information, please refer to the Institute’s website which sadly is only in French or Italian, but is clear enough.
