La Perla, Italian brand specialised in fine lingerie, introduced a collection for men. Bolstered by this novelty, the brand plans on opening boutiques devoted to its masculine clientele.
La Perla launches a new collection for men
Whilst the Italian fashion brand is in the midst of a strong controversy, its clients denouncing the use of much too skinny models in its shop windows, La Perla launched its new collection for men.
The new collection is composed of 31 different clothes, including ready-to-wear pieces and lingerie, the brand’s speciality.
Designed under artistic director Emiliano Rinaldi’s watchful eye, this line for men was recently introduced in June in Florence, during the Pitti Uomo show.
Boutiques for men
To accompany the launching of its new collection, the fashion brand considered opening a number of points of sale devoted to its male collections. The first boutique for men for La Perla, imagined by interior designer Roberto Baciocchi, should be opening in London in 2015 in the Mayfair district, on the famous Mount Street.
Three other boutiques for men are also planned for 2015. Parallel to this, the brand intends to rearrange and remodel some of its boutiques in order to display its male collections.
