Louis Vuitton introduced a new edition of one of its flagship models, the Lockit. The latest version of this iconic bag intends to be lighter and suppler, whilst keeping its iconic lines.
A new version of the Lockit bag
The Lockit bag is amongst Louis Vuitton’s most appreciated bags. Created in 1958, the accessory rapidly became legendary when actress Audrey Hepburn wore the bag in one of her movies.
After more than 50 years, the bag comes out again in a new edition. The French luxury leather goods manufacturer redesigned the famous bag with fluid lines and an uncluttered, simple look.
Thanks to its cashmere calf leather, Louis Vuitton’s Lockit is smoother to the touch and lighter than its ancestor.

In perfect harmony with the rest of the collection, the Lockit bag is available in 5 different colours. Plum, magnolia, raspberry, light grey, or the classic black gives clients a wide range of choices.
The suppleness of this new Louis Vuitton bag increases its practicality and a personalised usage. Like the previous models, on this last model of the Lockit features the brand’s signature and a lock, hence the bag’s name.
To introducethe new Lockit bag, the French brand produced a movie featuring the bag on actress Michelle Williams’ arm. Having already participated in the brand’s Pre-fall campaign in 2013, the actress starts its second collaboration with Louis Vuitton.
