Recently rewarded with the title Best luxury hotel brand of the world, the Indian group Oberoi launched its cruises on the Nile. After having stopped for a while, The Oberoi Zahra once again navigates on the Egyptian river.
A luxurious cruise
After a long absence which saddened many cruise enthusiasts, The Oberoi Zahra, the group Oberoi’s luxury boat is back in activity. This impressive liner will follow the same route as before, inviting its guests to discover the Nile’s meanders.
Large whilst managing to stay rather intimate, the boat has 25 cabines and two beautiful suites. Each of them have large windows to appreciate the Egyptian landscape at all times. In a similar aim, each bathroom is also equipped with windows. Bright, each room has a contemporary and elegant design. Guests occupying one of the two suites will also enjoy a large private terrace, a lounge and a Jacuzzi.
For the optimum comfort of each guest, The Oberoi Zahra has a swimming pool, a theatre, a library, a cigar bar and a fitness centre. Guests will also be invited to the gastronomic restaurant followed by a relaxing moment in the boats spa.
During the eight days of the cruise, the passengers will have the opportunity of discovering the 5000 year old Egyptian culture by navigating the Nile but also through the company of Egyptologists who will share their knowledge throughout the cruise.
Starting from Luxor to Aswan, this luxurious cruise will make a number of stops, allowing passengers to get off the boat and take a closer look at the temples and other riches the country has to offer. During each stop, guests will have their own private motorboat to take them wherever they please, with a guide and a driver.
