In 2009, the shipyard Rodriguez Yachts launched a new yacht with contemporary and futuristic lines. Imagined by the British architect Norman Foster, the yacht continues to seduce new buyers.
The Ocean Emerald, an art de vivre in the middle of the sea
40 metres long, this yacht features an uncluttered design whose modern lines make it unique. Entirely made of aluminium, the yachts silver tinted structure is curved, giving it an elegant naval look.
Space and light were key elements in the design of this yacht, created to make it a brightly lit and spacious home.
Navigating through the seas at 12 knots and able to go up t 17.5 knots, the Ocean Emerald is ideal to enjoy nautical pleasure. A meal whilst breathing in the salty sea air, sunbathing and sea diving sessions summarise a day on the ship.
A surprising interior design
Thin and filiform, Ocean Emerald’s curves expertly hides a spacious interior of 500 m2.
The owners of this yacht will have access to 5 suites to host their guests on board. Located at the front of the ship, on its main deck, the parental suite extends over 53 m2 and allows access to two terraces with a magnificent view of the sea. Four other rooms, including two VIP suites are present.
The lounge, as elegant as a New York penthouse, is accessible by spiral stairs, enhancing the room’s modern atmosphere. Large white couches and seats invite to relax and enjoy the view through the large bay windows surrounding the room. Synonymous of warmth and friendliness, a sumptuous wooden dining table occupies the dining room, ready to welcome 12 guests around it.
Ocean Emerald has the particularity of being owned by various proprietors, each using the yacht according to the seasons.
