Les Sources de Caudalie, luxury resort offering wine therapy based body care, plans on opening a new establishment based on this concept.
A new concept
Located in the region Bordelaise, the resort Les Sources de Caudalie is now an integral part of the local wine-growing landscape. Pioneer in the development of the wine tourism, the hotel was built at the centre of the Chateau Smith Haut Laffite vineyard, one of the biggest of the region. But the Sources de Caudalie palace will not be the only hotel offering such services, planning on expanding the brand throughout France.
In 1999, the Cathiard family, proprietor of the domain, built a 5 star hotel on its land. The hotel, whilst offering services found in a Parisian palace, provides its guests with the charm of the country-side, the fresh air and the calm. Baptised Les Sources de Caudalie, this luxurious hotel offers a spa specialised in wine therapy, a beauty care taking advantage of the special properties of wine.
Until now seen as a novel concept, tourists, French and international, have become very fond of this concept. Hence, wishing to satisfy the increasing demand, Jérome Tourbier, the company’s director, wishes to extend his hotel concept in Champagne.
Les Sources de Caudalie expands
With a turnover amounting to 18 million euros per year, the Source de Caudalie group is now investing in its future. The brand wishes to expand and create hotels in different regions of France known for their good wine.
A 5 star hotel, a restaurant offering guests a gastronomic menu and a wine therapy spa, this is what will await the future guests in this luxurious environment.
Each new resort represents an investment of 25 million euros for the company. However, this major project already benefits from private investments and has the support of the French regions welcoming the future resorts. These resorts should create seventy jobs a year, and an extra thirty during the summer.
