The French maison de mode Yves Saint Laurent launches a new leather collection with the same refinement found in its other creations. Once again relying on its famous monogram, each one of the collection’s pieces is adorned with it.
Monogram: a collection for ambassador by Yves Saint Laurent
For its new leather collection, the French fashion brand uses its famous logo on the entirety of its pieces; the logo was designed in 1961 by the artist Cassandre for Yves Saint Laurent himself.
This aesthetic choice, fruit of the brand’s artistic director, Hedi Slimane’s labour, allows the brand to reaffirm its identity. The monogram reproduced ad infinitum on the different pieces adopts its traditional pattern. Made for travels, the products bearing the brands emblem, act as ambassadors for the brand.
A leather collection by Yves Saint Laurent
The latest leather collection by Yves Saint Laurent owes its name to the brand’s famous logo, Monogram. Aware of its last collection’s potential, the fashion brand directly included this new line to its permanent collection.
All of the pieces which compose the collection are high-quality goods. Manufactured in natural cotton and leather, Monogram offers products for both men and women.
The collection includes hand-bags, clutch bags, bags and suitcases and a series of accessories such as an iPad cover and card holders.
The different models of the Monogram collection by Yves Saint Laurent are available from 95 euros to 2 550 euros.
